    Technique Records is an independent record store that opened in 2017 on NE 79th Street, where Miami's Upper East Side meets Shorecrest and Miami Shores. The shop describes itself as a place for deep digging: about three quarters of the stock is used, mostly original pressings, and the new records lean towards left-field imports and obscure alternatives. The bins run from punk, goth and industrial to free jazz, Latin, house and techno, with 45s, cassettes and CDs alongside. The store also buys records.
